 Newtec AZ110 Modulator

The AZ110 is a state-of-the-art satellite modulator designed for broadcast contribution, DSNG and distribution applications over satellite in full compliance with the DVB standards. Depending on the applications and the activated features, the AZ110 can be used in conjunction with set-top boxes, professional IRDs or satellite demodulators such as the AZ910.

In its default configuration, the AZ110 is capable of transmitting one MPEG transport stream in DVB-S, DVB-DSNG or DVB-S2 mode.

The AZ110 allows automatic or manual selection between two ASI inputs and has dual ASI monitoring outputs. Optionally, an optical ASI interface can be added.

 

Q561 IP Audio MPEG Encoder

The Q561 is an Audio Encoder for up to 8 stereo channels. Compact (19" 1U housing), highly energy efficient (< 2W per stereo channel in AES/EBU version), DSP-based hardware. Streaming of elementary streams over IP or generation of DVB-compliant MPEG-2 transport stream, output via IP or ASI. Several ordering options are available to adapt the audio input/output configuration to the customer´s requirements in a flexible way.

 SIRC Satellite In-Band Remote Control

2wcoms (SIRC) Satellite In-Band Remote Control provides a system that allows users to remotely manage and service equipment from one central location easily without the need of a physical network or internet connection. Thus, with SIRC as your network management system, you have the ideal tool for your quality control – while saving time and money.

The Embedded Controller EC01 is the heart of 2wcoms SIRC system. The 19" HU device is maintenance-free, with no moving parts or fans. Its main purpose is to prepare network control data that is later embedded in a private or an ancillary section into the transport stream. Above all EC01 schedules and executes tasks and maintains the database of the networks devices and their settings (versions, tasks, content of integrated memory etc.).

Completely removing the need for a physical connection SIRC is able to inject the necessary so called network control data into the MPEG2 transport stream at the satellite uplink station. Those data - delivered safer than by using telephone connections or the internet - can later be extracted and processed by the receiving equipment.
For example, using SIRC to distribute a new configuration to a greater number of devices can be finished within a few minutes, depending on the available bandwidth. And all it takes is just a few clicks.

SIRC is especially useful for network management in remote locations that have no or very poor outside connectivity. Of course, the EC01 can also be managed via web interface from any computer.
